My Dream Loft

I often imagine how my own loft will look like.

Inspired by my own character some what - I guess it'll be kindda dreamy, laid back, relaxed, comfy. Scandinavian. Bohemian. Minimalist. Yet, in all the seemingly lazy and drowsy ambience, the loft exudes this subtle glam and sexiness. I've taken a strong adoration to red lately. I find it represents (in my own terms) intensity, depth, strength and passion. Not just any hue of red though. The hanker is for deep red.

You'll probably detect a delicate sandalwood or vanilla fragrance and find white, champagne pink or red roses decked in the hall. The indoor temperature will be cool (not cold). Somewhere, you'll hear soft soothing rippling water from a miniature sandstone fountain.

I fancy an open concept kitchen though I have been warned it's impractical. Hmm. My dining table will either be in square (preferably) or is rectangular, 6 or 8 seater.

I like having good friends over for meals, drinks, chit chatting, play games, watch movies/tv or just lounge around. Whatever. The idea is not the activity, it's the company.

There'll be a "poochie" room with cute framed pics of my girls plastered with pride on one side of the wall, a "study/hobbies" room to work and play in, and of cos - the "snooze room" with an ultra fluffy comfy king-sized bed clothed in silky satin to snuggle and nestle in. If possible, it'll be awesome to fit a walk-in wardrobe!

See, I bet my dear friends reading this will go - "Ay, so typical of her. So idealistic. So dreamy. So out of this world."
