The competition, the cat and the sick gal.

The SIM National Management Competition 2008 starts officially tomorrow. We will be playing consecutively six working days with decisions to be submitted by noon each day via the internet. If everything goes well, we will qualify for the semi-finals. This week however, happens to be my busiest week of the month but I shall try my best to manage my time. This is the first time I am doing serious gaming. Interesting though.

Will have to make a trip to the vet with Max tomorrow after work. Uncle M brought him to a nearby vet on Sat. The initial diagnosis - decayed tooth (which requires an extraction under anesthesia). This probably explained the foul smell and the blood. I'm glad the consultation did not progress to actual extraction, for I'm not exactly confident in this vet. Poor boy must be in alot of discomfort and pain - I feel so sorry for him. Dr H is fully booked tomorrow so we will have to walk-in and this usually means a long wait. Sigh.

I'm feeling better today compared to yesterday but have not totally recovered. Breathing is still kindda laboured. And speaking of this, when we met yesterday for the competition briefing, Ironman and KFP ("Kung Fu Panda"; I'm nicked "SATC", lol) mentioned they had problem with breathing themselves (in the office). Could it be the bad air? Are we in a sick building? Or simply, the office contains too much negative energies? Luckily for them, they are self-employed and can choose when to appear in office, I'm not so lucky.

Sunday is ending in fourteen minutes. It's another Manic Monday.
